About the Role

We are currently seeking Warehouse Transfer Drivers to join our Warehouse and Logistics team at our Lockwood facility.

This role is responsible for the safe, timely and efficient movement of products between Hazeldenes’ production facilities, warehouse areas and storage locations within the Lockwood site. You will be operating HC trucks within the facility only, including reversing, positioning trailers and completing internal transfers safely and efficiently.

This is not an external linehaul or long distance transport role. The work is focused on internal site movements, supporting production and warehouse operations, and helping maintain a smooth and uninterrupted supply chain.

A current HC licence is mandatory for this role. A forklift licence is preferred, along with previous warehouse, logistics or transport experience.





You will be required to follow all site safety, food safety, Chain of Responsibility, fatigue management, load restraint and cold chain requirements at all times.

Key Responsibilities

- Safely operating HC trucks within the Lockwood facility to transfer goods between internal production, warehouse and storage areas

- Reversing, positioning and moving trucks and trailers safely in a busy operational environment

- Completing pre-start checks and routine vehicle inspections to ensure vehicles are safe and roadworthy

- Reporting vehicle maintenance issues, safety concerns or operational delays as required

- Accurately completing transport documentation, including load manifests, transfer dockets and logbooks

- Ensuring loads are properly restrained and comply with legal weight, hygiene and cold chain requirements

- Following all food safety, hygiene, biosecurity and site safety requirements

- Communicating effectively with dispatch, warehouse, production and site personnel to support efficient load handling and turnaround

- Adhering to Chain of Responsibility and fatigue management obligations at all times

- Maintaining a clean, safe and professional vehicle presentation

- Supporting the Warehouse team with general warehouse duties where required

- Identifying and reporting operational inefficiencies to support continuous improvement

- Performing any other duties within the scope of the role as reasonably directed by the Warehouse Supervisor or Warehouse Team Leader

About You





You are a reliable and safety focused driver who is confident operating heavy vehicles in a busy site environment. You are practical, calm under pressure and able to work well with warehouse, dispatch and production teams.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Current HC licence, mandatory

- Previous experience driving HC trucks

- Strong reversing and vehicle positioning skills

- Forklift licence, preferred

- Previous warehouse or logistics experience, highly desirable

- Good understanding of load restraint, fatigue management and Chain of Responsibility requirements

- Strong commitment to workplace safety, food safety and compliance

- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately

- Reliable transport and ability to attend shifts at our Lockwood site

- Ability to work in a fast paced operational environment

- A positive attitude and willingness to support the broader Warehouse team when required

- Shift & Role Requirements

- These are full time roles based at our Lockwood facility.

- Shifts generally operate across the following times: 5:00am to 1:00pm | 1:00pm to 9:00pm | 8:00pm to 4:00am

- Shift times may vary depending on business and operational requirements.

- This role involves driving HC trucks within the Lockwood facility only. The position does not involve external linehaul or long distance transport work. Applicants must be confident with internal site driving, reversing and safe vehicle movements in a busy production and warehouse environment.
