Coolchange Airconditioning is seeking an experienced A/C Technician to join our team in Frenchs Forest, NSW. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to work on a diverse range of air conditioning and refrigeration systems across residential and commercial properties. As an A/C Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring our clients receive reliable, efficient cooling solutions and maintain the highest standards of service delivery. Your technical expertise and problem‑solving abilities will be instrumental in supporting Coolchange Airconditioning's reputation for excellence in the air conditioning industry.

Key responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems for residential and commercial clients

Diagnose faults and malfunctions in A/C units using diagnostic tools and technical knowledge

Perform routine servicing and preventative maintenance on air conditioning systems to ensure optimal performance

Conduct safety inspections and ensure all work complies with relevant regulations and standards

Respond promptly to emergency call‑outs and provide efficient solutions to minimise downtime for clients

Maintain accurate records of work completed, including service reports and spare parts used

Communicate clearly with clients regarding work undertaken, costs and recommendations for future maintenance

Keep up-to-date with industry developments, new technologies and best practices in air conditioning systems

What we're looking for

Trade qualification or equivalent certification in air conditioning and refrigeration

Minimum 3-5 years' experience working as an A/C technician in the trades and services industry

Strong technical knowledge of air conditioning systems, refrigeration principles and electrical components





Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and tools commonly found in air conditioning maintenance

Valid driver's licence and reliable transport to travel between job sites

Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail

Strong communication and customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues to clients

Physical fitness and ability to work at heights and in confined spaces where necessary

Experience with both split system and ducted air conditioning systems is highly desirable

Knowledge of commercial refrigeration systems would be advantageous
