About the Role

We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented Cable Assemblers to join the production team on an ongoing casual basis.

Working from detailed assembly diagrams, you will assemble and prepare high-voltage cable connections using specialised hand tools and assembly jigs. This is a precision assembly role requiring excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail rather than heavy manual labour.

The work is performed at ergonomic assembly benches and jigs designed to minimise fatigue while maintaining high quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Assemble medium and high-voltage cable accessories to detailed work instructions and engineering drawings.
- Strip and prepare electrical cables using wire strippers and specialist cutting tools.
- Join and terminate cable components accurately to specification.
- Perform quality inspections throughout the assembly process.
- Operate safely within company quality and manufacturing procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area.
- Meet production and quality targets.

- Experience using hand tools including wire strippers, cutters and measuring equipment.
- High attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Reliable with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
