Drake Trades and Technical, a leader in recruitment for skilled trades, is thrilled to present an outstanding opportunity for a Production Operator to join a leading Australian manufacturer based in Bundaberg, QLD.

The Roster

This role follows a 21 day rotating roster, with employees working just 10 x 12 hour shifts over a three week cycle, providing an excellent work life balance.

Rate:

$29.71/Hr + Shift Loading + Overtime + Super

Week 2

Monday to Wednesday | 6:00am - 6:00pm

Week 3

Wednesday to Friday | 6:00pm - 6:00am

The Role

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, this role will commence in the dry section of the plant, operating production equipment, performing manual handling and moving product throughout the manufacturing process. As your skills develop, you'll receive training in the wet section, where you'll monitor production processes, collect samples and complete quality checks.

The key responsibilities will include:

- Operate production machinery and equipment
- Manual handling and product movement
- Monitor production processes and complete quality checks
- Follow safety, quality and operating procedures
- Maintain a clean and organised work area

About You

We're looking for a reliable,



safety focused individual who enjoys hands on work and is keen to build a career in manufacturing. Ideally you will have:

- Experience in manufacturing, production, warehousing, labouring or a similar environment
- Good physical fitness and confidence with manual handling
- Comfortable working at heights and climbing stairs
- A robust commitment to safety and quality
- A forklift licence (advantageous, but not essential)
