Our client is a leading manufacturer for a wide range of swimming pool cover covers and swimming pool enclosures. With over 30 years in the industry the team are now looking for an Assembler to join the team IMMEDIALTEY.

We are currently looking for an experienced factory hand production lineAssembler to hit the ground running, and work on the line cutting profile lengths to size. A small but busy factory manufacturing pool covers. Day shift hours and located in Mitcham this job is an Ongoing opportunity - Casual through to Permanent, for the right individuals.

- $34.96 per hourly (Superannuation is Paid on Top)
- 7am - 3pm Monday to Friday (5 days per week) 37.5 Hours per week

About the Role:

- Work in a small team of 8 factory staff members manufacturing swimming pool covers - assembling high-quality pool covers & enclosures.
- MAIN JOB - Cutting Long Plastic Profile lengths to Size - Measure Accurately, cut lengths to size with machine cutter (Powered Drop Saw)
- Follow Job Sheets, and or use touch screen settings to operate cutter to cut the plastic lengths to size accurately. 6 - 10 metre lengths (not heavy - just long)
- Tapping ends of cut profiles & then filling ends with silicone (Silicone is air compressed with a gun - tedious job, and time consuming) Need patience, accuracy & speed as you get into it.
- Training on the job will be provided
- Be flexible to work across different workstations to learn & up-skill yourself and be versatile across the factory as required for production needs. Axle Cutting - Fibreglass Cutting etc…

What we need from you:





- Full time availability and working rights
- Previous experience with Factory Assembly & using Hand & Air Power Tools
- MUST be good with Numbers / measurements / dimensions etc… to be able to cut accurately. This is KEY to the job! MUST.
- Physically fit & capable and comfortable with manual handling (will be carrying long lengths a plastic profile around the factory)
- Aptitude to learn tried and test assembly procedures
- Ability to follow job sheets - read & understand measurements, dimensions etc…
