Become part of the dedicated team at Emerald and Monbulk Family Dental Care as a Dental Assistant. This part time position with the opportunity to become full time, it is based in Emerald VIC 3782 and Monbulk VIC 3793, rotating roster between the two clinics 28-38 hours per week and will see you play a crucial role in supporting our dentists and providing high-quality patient care. This role would be perfect for someone starting their career in dentistry as on the job training is provided, absolutey no experience necessary.

What you'll be doing

- Assisting dentists during examinations and procedures
- Preparing treatment rooms and sterilising instruments
- Greeting and welcoming patients, and ensuring they feel comfortable
- Restocking dental supplies as needed
- Performing basic administrative tasks as required and the potential to do 1 reception shift per week in the future

What we're looking for

- Someone starting their career in dentistry/healthcare
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with patients




- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- A friendly, qualified and compassionate approach to patient care
- Familiarity with dental equipment, materials and procedures
- Able to work in a small team
