Tasty One is a family-owned Australian food manufacturer supplying fresh fruit and vegetable products to some of Australia's leading food brands. We're looking for a motivated Graduate Mechanical Engineering Technician to join our Maintenance team and develop their skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent Mechanical Engineering graduate who wants hands-on experience with plant equipment, maintenance systems and continuous improvement projects.
About the Role
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you'll work alongside experienced maintenance professionals to improve plant performance and reliability.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Producing and updating CAD drawings
- Assisting with equipment design and modifications
- Supporting preventative maintenance activities
- Assisting with installation and commissioning of new equipment
- Investigating equipment issues and supporting root cause analysis
- Developing maintenance documentation
- Identifying process improvement opportunities
- Working collaboratively with Production and Maintenance teams
About You
You will have:
- Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- CAD experience (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor or similar)
- Strong problem-solving skills
- A genuine interest in manufacturing and engineering
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
- Manufacturing or food industry exposure
- Internship or work placement experience
- Knowledge of preventative maintenance systems
- Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement experience
