Job Summary

For 26/27 School Year Requirements / Qualifications

Only completely filled applications with a current resume and 3 letters of recommendation will be considered.

- Letter(s) of Recommendation (3 Letters, 1 from a current or former employer, 2 personal)
- Other (A pre-requisite for employment is proof of passing the Instructional Assistant Proficiency Test or possession of an AA degree or higher)

Candidates who receive an offer of employment will be hired contingent upon the satisfactory completion of the following:

- Fingerprinting/background checks
- Verification of freedom from Tuberculosis
- Verification of I-9 Employment Eligibility

A pre-requisite for employment as an Instructional Assistant is the proof of passing the Instructional Assistant Proficiency Test for the Napa Valley Unified School District.

Exceptions

To Taking This Test Are

- Possession of a current California Teacher Credential
- Possession of an AA degree or higher
- At least 48 units




- CBEST (California Basic Education Skills Test)
