YHA Melbourne Central

is a stone's throw away from top attractions like the Eureka Skydeck, Melbourne Aquarium, and Federation Square, Melbourne’s famous graffiti-adorned laneways and world famous cafes, bars, and eateries. The property consists of 75 rooms with 244 beds offering both shared and private spaces to a diverse range of guests. Our Rooftop BBQ area and vibrant ground floor café and bar are the heart of the property and are outstanding spaces for our guests to enjoy the social elements of hostel lifestyle.

The opportunity

The housekeeping team are responsible for ensuring the property remains sparkling clean and continues to meet the excellent standards required of YHA properties.

Day-to-day duties include: Housekeeping/Cleaner: duties include; refreshing communal spaces,



bathrooms and accommodation rooms, kitchens, monitoring and replenishing stock and ensuring our property remains sparkling clean.

What we are looking for:

- Previous experience in housekeeping or commercial cleaning
- Willingness to take direction from others
- Good time management skills and the ability to work well under pressure
- Flexible availability 24/7 roster including night shifts, weekends and public holidays
- Excellent communication skills verbal and written
