We are currently looking for a reliable and motivated Casual Property Safety Compliance Technician to join our Victorian team. This role is ideal for someone looking for flexible work with the opportunity to transition into a full time position.

About the Role
As a Property Safety Compliance Technician, you will attend residential rental properties to complete:
- Victorian Rental Minimum Standards inspections
- Smoke alarm inspections and servicing in accordance with Victorian legislation
- Minor maintenance associated with smoke alarms and safety compliance
- Completion of inspection reports using our mobile application and internal software
- Liaising professionally with renters and real estate agents
You will be the face of BCMC Safety Solutions, so professionalism and excellent customer service are essential.

About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has excellent communication and customer service skills
- Presents professionally and takes pride in their work
- Is reliable, punctual and able to work independently
- Is confident using basic hand tools, including a drill
- Is comfortable working on ladders to access smoke alarms and complete inspections
- Has good attention to detail
- Is confident using a smartphone / technology to complete reports
- Enjoys meeting people and building positive relationships with property managers and renters
- Is physically capable of carrying equipment and completing inspections throughout the day
Essential Requirements
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain one) company will cover this cost
- Right to work in Australia
- Ability to travel throughout the metropolitan area in Melbourne
