Westvic Staffing Solutions, in partnership with Trentham Electrical and Solar, are looking for 3rd or 4th year electrical apprentices that live within a 50km radius of Trentham. Trentham Electrical & Solar specialises in the installation and maintenance of on-grid and off-grid solar system installations, solar battery storage solutions, and backup generator integration for residential and commercial clients across Central Victoria and the Macedon Ranges. This is an exciting chance to learn from experienced professionals while working on a diverse range of projects in a growing industry.
Tasks Involved:
- Installation of on-grid and off-grid solar systems, battery storage solutions, and backup generators
- Reading and interpreting electrical plans, drawings, and specifications
- Planning and installing electrical wiring systems
- Testing, fault-finding, and repairing electrical systems
- Installing electrical equipment, control systems, and components
- Connecting electrical systems and equipment to power supplies
- Working alongside experienced tradespeople on a variety of electrical and renewable energy projects
The successful applicants will:
- Be physically fit
- Have a drivers licence
- Have a working at heights ticket
- Be willing to work in a team
Company vehicle will be supplied for the successful applicant.
