We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Trainee to join our team at Budget Steel in GYMPIE, Queensland. This is a full-time position that will provide you with hands-on experience and training in various administrative and sales-related tasks, helping you develop a broad skillset. The role is based in our Gympie office, with opportunities for continued professional development and growth within the company.

What you'll be doing

- Providing excellent sales support to customers, including data entry, invoicing, order processing, and general office duties
- Assisting with inbound and outbound customer calls, responding to queries, and providing exceptional customer service
- Participating in the sales process, including generating quotes, following up on leads, and helping to build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Supporting the implementation of sales and marketing initiatives, such as organising events and managing customer databases
- Continuously learning and developing your skills to contribute to the ongoing success of the business

- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure

- Some previous experience in an administrative or customer service role would be highly regarded, but not essential
