As our business continues to grow, we're looking for a motivated QC Chemist Intern to join our Quality team and gain valuable industry experience.
About the Role
This is a paid internship ideal for a final-year university student or recent graduate in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science or a related discipline.
Working from our Melbourne head office, you'll support the Quality team in ensuring our cosmetic products and packaging meet the highest quality standards. You'll gain exposure to quality systems, product compliance and the end-to-end product lifecycle while working alongside experienced quality professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with quality inspections of cosmetic packaging, bulk products and finished goods.
- Prepare product samples for internal and external testing.
- Assist with preparing and maintaining quality documentation and records.
- Review Certificates of Analysis (CoAs) against product specifications and stability data under supervision.
- Support the Quality team with product release documentation and quality records.
- Assist with organising retain samples and stability samples.
- Liaise with internal teams to ensure quality documentation is complete and accurate.
- Provide general administrative support to the Quality team as required.
About You
- Currently studying (final year preferred) or recently completed a degree in:
- Chemistry
- Cosmetic Science
- Pharmaceutical Science
- Food Science
- Biotechnology
- or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- Good analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and contribute.
- An interest in the cosmetics or personal care industry.
