Role:

We are seeking people who are physically fit, active, energetic, enthusiastic, and skilled individuals and that have a solid experience in the disability sector to join our team on a casual basis.

Reporting to the Director, you will be required to support participants to reach their individual goals through meaningful and fun activities in their home and out in the community.

Responsibilities

- Meeting with clients to discuss their practical and emotional needs.




- Providing emotional support by talking to clients about their needs and listening to their concerns.
- Assisting with domestic tasks including shopping, cooking, cleaning, and washing.
- Helping clients to participate in leisure activities.
- Making case notes and managing the case logbook.
- Training family members in basic support techniques.
- NDIS Workers Screening
- Valid First Aid and CPR
- The ability to develop a positive relationship with the client
- Cert III in Individual Support or Cert IV in Disability (or equivalent) is desirable but not mandatory
