Evergreen Deli is a within the Adelaide Botanic Garden and offers Food inspired from the Gardens and served in a delicatessen style.

Our quality Beverages is led by our Will & Co coffee, Juice Quest cold press juices, Strange Love, and BTNC native flavoured soda's.

Open daily until 5pm, Evergreen Deli is a destination for visitors of the Adelaide Botanic Gardens including many local nearby residents, families, and interstate and international tourists alike, who love great Food and Coffee !

We are looking for an experienced Chef / Cook with creativity, flair and great management skills to lead this fast paced cafe kitchen.

You will work closely with the Evergreen Deli Manager(s) and Botanic Garden General Manager

What we're looking for:

- A qualified Chef / Cook working a minimum of 16 to 32 hours, hourly paid, per week
- Ability to autonomously and collectively lead the kitchen staff to ensure the efficient and timely preparation of the Evergreen Deli Menu
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a Cafe Chef Cook in a fast paced Cafe workplace




- Ideally formal culinary training and qualifications, such as a Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery
- Excellent knowledge of food safety, kitchen operations and event catering best practices
- Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with a Cafe team
- Ability to work collaboratively under pressure and deliver consistently high standards
- Passion for creating cutting-edge, quality cafe menu items and providing outstanding customer service
