An exceptional opportunity has become available for an experienced Clinical Dietitian to join a dedicated Mental Health Allied Health team located on the Northern Beaches . This part-time role, consisting of 15.2 hours per week , is situated within a modern healthcare facility that provides psychiatric care to both public and private patients . The successful candidate will play a vital role in enhancing patient recovery by providing comprehensive nutritional assessments and evidence-based interventions tailored to a diverse mental health population.

Role and Responsibilities

The appointed Dietitian will be responsible for delivering a high standard of clinical care to admitted inpatients, ensuring all nutritional requirements are met to improve overall health outcomes. This position requires seamless collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatric nurses, doctors, and support staff.

Selection Criteria and Requirements

Applicants must hold a Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics (or an equivalent qualification)



that satisfies the requirements for full membership with the Dietitians Australia .

Requirements

A minimum of two years of acute care clinical experience specifically within the mental health sector is required. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed counseling skills, the ability to manage a busy workload independently, and excellent interpersonal communication skills.
