Our newest store, Minimax Mornington , has opened with a bang, and we're looking for an experienced, hands-on Assistant Store Manager to help lead the team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a beautiful new store from the beginning, support a passionate Store Manager and bring the Minimax vision to life as Australia's leading storytelling kitchen and lifestyle retailer.

Working closely with the Store Manager, you'll help drive sales, coach and develop the team, maintain high visual and operational standards and create the magical customer experience Minimax is known for. We're looking for a confident retail leader who thrives in a busy, customer-focused environment, leads by example and brings strong stock management, commercial awareness and attention to detail. Previous experience in specialty retail is essential, and homewares or lifestyle retail experience will be highly regarded.

What you'll be doing:

- Supporting the Store Manager with hands-on leadership across daily store operations, sales performance and team standards.
- Delivering exceptional customer service and coaching the team to create a memorable, premium retail experience.
- Managing stock, store organisation and operational routines with accuracy and care.
- Maintaining robust visual merchandising and product storytelling in line with Minimax standards.
- Helping manage controllable costs, including labour, stock loss and day-to-day store efficiencies.
- Reviewing sales results and identifying opportunities to grow the business.





About you:

- You have previous retail leadership experience, ideally as an Assistant Store Manager, 2IC or experienced supervisor.
- You are a confident coach who can motivate a team and build accountability.
- You are commercially minded, organised and comfortable working with stock, reports and KPIs.
- You love premium homewares, beautiful store presentation and genuine customer connection.

This is a part-time role that follows retail trading hours, including availability for weekend trade. You'll be supported with practical training, mentoring and ongoing development in-store to help you succeed.
