Eastern Suburbs Physiotherapy and Sports Injuries Centre is seeking a skilled and compassionate Female Physiotherapist to join our team on a part-time basis . Based in Nunawading, VIC, this role offers an excellent opportunity to provide high-quality physiotherapy services to a diverse range of patients, from sports injury management to rehabilitation and general musculoskeletal care. As a Physiotherapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients recover from injuries, manage chronic conditions, and achieve their rehabilitation goals. This position allows you to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives whilst maintaining a healthy work-life balance through flexible, part-time arrangements.
Key responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualised treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient goals
Deliver evidence-based physiotherapy treatments including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and functional rehabilitation
Provide education and advice to patients regarding injury prevention, self-management strategies, and lifestyle modifications
Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed to optimise outcomes
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and patient records in compliance with professional and legal standards
Communicate effectively with referring practitioners and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
Support the delivery of injury management services
Contribute to a professional and collaborative team environment,
supporting colleagues and maintaining high standards of service
What we’re looking for
Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution
Current registration with Physiotherapy Board of Australia (PBA) and preferably membership with APA (Australian Physiotherapy Association) or equivalent professional body
Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience in physiotherapy practice, ideally including sports injuries or musculoskeletal rehabilitation
Strong clinical assessment and treatment skills with a solid understanding of evidence-based practice
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a busy clinical environment
Current First Aid certification or willingness to obtain one
Current Victorian Driver's license and own transport
Working With Children Check (WWCC) if working with paediatric patients
Skilled liability insurance or willingness to obtain coverage through the organisation
Preferred experience in sports injury assessment, taping techniques, or rehabilitation following common sporting injuries
