Oliver Birch is a family-owned and operated furniture and homewares store located in the heart of Bendigo. We are passionate about creating beautiful spaces and providing exceptional customer service. We are looking for an enthusiastic Retail Sales Assistant to join our friendly and dedicated team.

About the Role
This is a part-time position with an immediate start , working 4–5 days per week , including every Saturday . For the right applicant, there is the opportunity to transition into a full-time role .
You’ll enjoy working in a fast-paced retail environment where no two days are the same. Along with delivering outstanding customer service and sales, you’ll also be involved in merchandising, stock handling, and maintaining the presentation of our beautiful store.
About You
- At least 12 months' retail sales experience
- A genuine passion for homewares, furniture, and styling
- Strong sales and customer service skills
- Experience using POS systems and Shopify
- Valuable computer skills
- A hands‑on attitude and the ability to perform physical tasks, including moving stock and merchandising displays
- Excellent communication skills
- Reliability, punctuality, and a positive team-focused attitude
