Safilo Australia is seeking a Storeperson to join our team at our Peakhurst, NSW facility. This is a casual position offering flexibility and the opportunity to work within a dynamic warehousing and distribution environment. As a Storeperson, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the smooth operation of our storage and distribution centre, ensuring that inventory is managed efficiently and goods are handled safely and accurately. This position is essential to supporting our logistics operations and maintaining our high standards of service delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Receiving, checking and logging incoming goods into the warehouse management system
- Accurately picking, packing and preparing orders for dispatch to customers
- Organising and storing inventory in designated areas, maintaining clear labelling and location records
- Conducting regular stock checks and reconciling physical inventory with system records
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation throughout the warehouse and storage areas
- Supporting the warehouse team to meet productivity targets and delivery deadlines
Required Skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recording and managing inventory
- Ability to work efficiently and safely, adhering to all warehouse health and safety protocols
- Physical capability to lift and move goods regularly and work in a fast-paced workplace
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with warehouse management systems is advantageous
- Reliability, punctuality and a proactive attitude to work
