About The Role
We currently have an opportunityfor a Lawyer/Associate (2-3+ years' PQE) in our well regarded RealEstate - Development team, led by Partner Nick Holuigue. The RealEstate - Development practice at Maddocks is the pre-eminentproperty development practice in Victoria (with a team consistingof over 50 people, including six Partners) who work and collaboratewith other sections of the firm, in order to provide end to endlegal advice in the property development cycle. The team pridesitself on being able to assist leading developers (both listed andprivate) by providing outstanding and commercial legal advice ineach step of the development process (from acquisition to delivery)and has an in-depth understanding of the industry. The team isactively involved in industry associations and assisting clientsmanage the ever changing legal framework surroundingdevelopments.
About You
The successful candidate will ideallyhave 2-3+ years' experience in property law (ideally, with someexposure to property development), be passionate about property andcommitted to moving into a property development focused role withthe ability to become involved in all aspects of the developmentcycle and in project delivery in the residential, commercial/retailand industrial sectors. Furthermore you will have strong attention to detail and enjoyworking in a fast-paced environment in a large team.
