About the role:

You will help deliver stable AWS environments for our customers while learning how we use automation and AI to modernise cloud management. The role blends hands‑on engineering with solution design and exposure to real customer problems. It is customer facing. You will work directly with customers to solve their product problems, and with the team to turn those solutions into repeatable patterns.

We are growing and looking for the right people to join our team of cloud engineers in Melbourne.

What you will do:

Customer and delivery support

- Work directly with customers to understand their requirements and translate this into AWS designs and solutions

- Turn customer requests into clear, scoped tasks and changes

- Take an active role in support incidents and deliver customer improvements

- Help the engineering team prepare for and follow up on customer meetings

- Keep tickets and notes up to date and keep customers informed on progress

- Be the technical escalation contact for junior engineers and participate in the the on-call roster

Cloud engineering and automation

- Build infrastructure as code and provision AWS environments for dev, test and production

- Develop and deploy CI/CD frameworks for customers





- Use AI tools and our internal automation to speed up analysis, documentation and troubleshooting

- Follow our patterns for security, networking and cost control, and help improve them over time

- Learn the standard toolsets we deploy to customer environments, and why we use them

What you will bring:

- A solid understanding of cloud fundamentals, frameworks and automation concepts

- An AWS associate certification and proven AWS project experience

- Programming experience in at least one language, for example Python

- Excellent written and verbal communication, and the ability to explain what you are doing and why

- Comfortable working directly with customers

- The ability to break a problem into steps and follow it through to completion

- Curiosity, meaning you read documentation, experiment with tools and ask questions
