An established national commercial construction and fitout contractor is looking to appoint an experienced National Estimator to support its continued growth across Australia.

This is a senior opportunity for an estimator who enjoys working across multiple markets, building strong subcontractor relationships and taking ownership of tenders from initial review through to final submission.

The business delivers high-quality commercial fitout, refurbishment and selected new-build projects, with project values ranging up to approximately $35 million.

The Role

Reporting to the senior leadership team, you will take responsibility for estimating and tendering projects across the company's national operations.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

- Reviewing tender documentation, drawings, specifications and scopes of work
- Preparing detailed cost plans, estimates and tender submissions
- Completing trade take-offs and subcontractor comparisons
- Developing accurate project budgets and construction methodologies
- Managing subcontractor and supplier pricing
- Identifying commercial risks, exclusions and value-management opportunities
- Working closely with project, design and delivery teams
- Supporting early contractor involvement and negotiated opportunities
- Maintaining robust relationships with subcontractors across multiple states




- Assisting with tender interviews, handovers and post-tender negotiations

About You

To be considered, you will ideally have:

- Strong estimating experience within commercial construction or fitout
- Experience pricing fitout, refurbishment or new-build projects
- The ability to price projects valued up to $35 million
- Strong knowledge of Australian construction methodologies and trade packages
- Established subcontractor relationships within your local market
- Excellent attention to detail and commercial awareness
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills
- The ability to manage multiple tenders and competing deadlines
- Experience using recognised estimating and construction software
