Allstone Quarries is seeking a dedicated, motivated and experienced Transport Manager tolead our quarry transport division. This role is an significant part of the leadership team working alongside Quarry, Sales, Maintenance and Garden & Landscape divisions.

- Permanent Fulltime; 38 hours per week
- Ability to work weekends and public holidays, as required

ASQ is a locally owned, family-operated business serving Central Victoria since 1970.Through its quarry, premix concrete, and garden and landscape divisions, ASQ supplies quality products and solutions for domestic, commercial, and industrial projects across Victoria.

Supporting our operations is a modern fleet of over 10 NHVR-compliant vehicles, including truckand 3-4 axle dogs, semi tippers. Equipped with GPS tracking and onboard cameras, operated by experienced drivers, our fleet ensures safe, efficient, and timely delivery of materials throughout the region.

About the role:

Your main responsibilities will include:

- Overseeing the maintenance, scheduling, and operation of the quarry transport fleet, ensuring vehicles are running efficiently and safely
- Ensuring all operations comply with industry regulations
- Managing truck and driver allocation, scheduling routes, and overseeing subcontractor driverswhen needed
- Planning and managing daily delivery schedules and ensuring timely deliveries and pick-ups
- Leading a team of transport drivers and weighbridge operators, conducting performance reviews,and providing training and development opportunities




- Acting as the primary point of contact for suppliers and ensuring strong relationships withinternal and external stakeholders
- Overseeing safety protocols, including fatigue management and risk assessments, and ensuringcompliance with workplace health, safety and environmental standards
- Maintaining accurate records of fleet operations, daily driver sheets, and submittingmanagement reports to senior leadership
- Managing and overseeing daily weighbridge operations, including conducting audits andensuring smooth operations during absences, End of day reconciliation andBanking.

Key Selection Criteria

- 3+ years’ experience in managing transport, fleet or similar experience in a relatedfield (desirable)
- 3+ years’ leadership experience in a similar industry (desirable)
- Experience in developing and managing budgets
- Experience with weighbridge systems (desirable)
- Demonstrated leadership and people management experience, with the ability to guide, motivate and develop a team of transport drivers and weighbridge operators
- Knowledge of OHS and environmental regulations applicable to industry
- Availability to work weekends and public holidays, as required
