About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Pharmacist in Charge to lead pharmacy operations at one of our key sites. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong leader to drive operational excellence, support clinical service delivery, stakeholder engagement and contribute to a high-performing healthcare team. This pharmacy services hospitals, oncology and corrections sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide operational leadership across pharmacy services
- Oversee dispensary workflows, stock management, and compliance
- Lead, mentor, and support pharmacy staff to maintain a high-performing team
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and service quality
- Collaborate with key stakeholders such as hospital executives to support clinical and operational outcomes
- Monitor performance metrics and drive service optimisation
About You
- Current AHPRA registration as a Pharmacist (mandatory)
- Proven leadership experience in a hospital or healthcare pharmacy setting
- Strong operational and organisational skills
- Ability to manage priorities and drive accountability
- Experience in improving systems, workflows, and service delivery
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
