Our company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Leading Hand/Qualified Plumber or Civil Pipe layer to join our team in Melbourne, Victoria. This full time role will see you take on a key leadership position, overseeing a team of plumbers and ensuring the efficient and high-quality delivery of all plumbing services.

What you'll be doing

Lead and coordinate a team of plumbers to complete a wide range of commercial and residential plumbing projects

Supervise the work of the team to ensure all tasks are completed to the highest standard

Provide hands-on support and guidance to junior plumbers to develop their skills

Liaise with clients, project managers and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver exceptional customer service

Assist in the planning and scheduling of work to maximize efficiency and productivity

Ensure all work is compliant with relevant building codes, regulations and safety standards

Maintain detailed records and provide regular reporting on project progress and team performance

What we're looking for

Fully qualified plumber with at least 2 years' post-apprenticeship experience





Experienced Civil pipe layer

Demonstrated experience in a leading hand or supervisory role, preferably within the plumbing industry

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead and manage a team

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

Commitment to delivering high-quality work and exceptional customer service

Current driver's licence and reliable transportation
