What you'll do

- Develop front-end features for KAYAK's car search platform with guidance from senior engineers.
- Write clean and maintainable code using React and TypeScript, adhering to team quality standards.
- Work with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to build user-facing experiences for web and mobile.
- Participate in code reviews, offering and receiving feedback.
- Create unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure software reliability.
- Utilize AI coding tools to enhance development speed and code quality.
- Engage in agile ceremonies like sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives.

Requirements

- A degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or a strong portfolio.
- Fundamental knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with React or a similar modern UI framework.




- Familiarity with Git for version control and collaborative coding.
- Ability to use AI coding tools to improve development efficiency and code quality.
- Clear communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork and feedback.
- Capacity to work in a hybrid model, attending the Cambridge or Concord office at least 3 days per week.
