We are seeking a agile, engaging, and driven Faculty Leader of Mathematics for the Lew Family Secondary School, located in Burwood, Victoria. This is a unique opportunity to lead a high-performing department at a school renowned for its exceptional VCE results. We are looking for an outstanding educator who is not only a brilliant teacher but also a collaborative and inspirational leader, who shares their love and learning, their knowledge and practice of contemporary pedagogies, and enjoys working collaboratively as part of a team.

This is a full-time tenured position for three years with a teaching component to commence in Term 1, 2027. A competitive salary package will be negotiated in order to attract candidates of the highest calibre. All applicants must have a current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) Registration

The successful candidate:

- should have proven record of success as a secondary educator with an extensive knowledge in educational theory and practice and to have considerable experience working in a school environment.
- be able to demonstrate capacity of work as a senior team member of a team to achieve strategic outcomes in the area of teaching and learning.
- be able to demonstrate educational leadership and leadership in developing a culture of learning excellence.
- be able to demonstrate a commitment to the Jewish character, practice and ethos of the College.
- have a high level of interpersonal and communications skills with students,



parents and colleagues and to represent the College in the community and build and develop these relationships.
- have a high level of organisational ability and initiative as well as the ability to supervise, motivate and mentor staff.
- have experience in Education administration.
