About the role

As Senior Manager, Strategic Development, you will partner with Executive leaders to drive strategic planning, business cases and enterprise-wide decision-making. Reporting to the CFO and General Manager, Corporate Services, you'll provide strategic analysis, lead investment and planning initiatives, and deliver practical, evidence-based solutions that support the long-term success of State Trustees.



This is an opportunity to influence organisational strategy and work closely with senior leaders to shape the future of the organisation.

Skills and Experience

- Demonstrated experience in strategy, management consulting, corporate planning, transformation or a related discipline
- Proven ability to develop strategic recommendations, business cases and investment proposals that support Executive decision-making
- Strong strategic thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesise complex information into practical outcomes
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with experience partnering effectively with senior leaders across complex organisations
- Outstanding written communication skills, including the ability to prepare high-quality Executive and Board papers
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Economics, Public Policy or a related discipline
