We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Co-ordinator (Electrical) to play a key role in the safe and efficient management of electrical maintenance activities supporting our Slag Handling Granulator operations.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on electrical professional with strong planning and leadership skills to influence asset performance, improve reliability and work closely with operations teams and specialist contractors in a dynamic industrial setting.

About the Role

You will be responsible for coordinating and delivering maintenance strategies that maximise plant performance, ensure compliance, and support safe operations.

You will oversee the planning, scheduling and execution of maintenance activities while driving continuous improvement initiatives across the site.

Key Responsibilities

Maintenance Planning & Execution

- Scope and develop corrective and preventative maintenance activities.
- Create secure and effective work instructions.
- Schedule and coordinate internal and external resources.
- Supervise maintenance activities to ensure safe and efficient execution.
- Manage maintenance costs and optimise expenditure.
- Ensure critical spares and components are available and fit for purpose.
- Deliver maintenance plans in line with agreed asset strategies.

Contractor Management

- Coordinate specialist contractors, electrical service providers and technical teams.
- Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with scope requirements.
- Contribute to the development and review of maintenance strategies.
- Maintain accurate equipment and asset master data.
- Develop and implement electrical isolation procedures.




- Ensure compliance with process safety requirements.
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve reliability and performance.

Team Support & Development

- Provide coaching and mentoring to electrical and operational personnel.
- Promote knowledge sharing and continuous improvement across the team.

Safety & Compliance

- Maintain strict compliance with Australian electrical standards and site safety systems.
- Champion safe work practices and electrical isolation requirements.
- Support a strong safety culture across all maintenance activities.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

Qualifications

- Australian Electrical Trade Certificate and Electrical Licence or
- Advanced Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Full Australian working rights.
- White Card.
- Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment medical.

Experience

- Heavy manufacturing;
- Mining;
- Proficiency with PLC systems, automation hardware and computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS) such as SAP.
- Strong maintenance planning and coordination capability.
- Knowledge of asset management and reliability principles.
- Experience managing contractors and external service providers.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- A proactive approach to continuous improvement and problem solving.
