We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) within the Technology Services and Information Security division.
Reporting to the Head of Project Delivery, this role offers the opportunity to work on strategic technology, digital transformation and platform initiatives that directly support improved member experiences and business outcomes.

About the Role

As a Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in the successful delivery of technology and business projects across the organisation. Working closely with business stakeholders, project teams and technology delivery teams, you will gather, analyse and document requirements while ensuring solutions align with business objectives.
This role is ideal for a Business Analyst who combines strong stakeholder engagement and business analysis skills with the technical capability to work across complex systems, integrations, data flows and cloud-based environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead business and technical requirements gathering, analysis and documentation across complex initiatives.
- Facilitate workshops, stakeholder interviews and discovery sessions to define business needs and project outcomes.
- Develop user stories, acceptance criteria, business requirements, process maps and supporting documentation.
- Analyse solution architectures, APIs, integrations, data flows and system interfaces.
- Support project scope definition and solution design activities.




- Ensure end-to-end requirements traceability from business need through to delivered solution.
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Architects, Developers, Testers and Infrastructure teams to achieve successful outcomes.
- Guide business stakeholders in the planning and execution of User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Review and validate test cases to ensure business and technical requirements are appropriately tested.
- Support UAT and Production Verification Testing (PVT), including documenting outcomes and supporting defect resolution.
- Ensure testing and acceptance criteria clearly demonstrate that delivered solutions meet defined requirements.
- Assist with operational support of digital platforms, including technology foundations, governance, processes, standards and documentation.
- Contribute to business readiness, change management and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain high-quality project documentation and support effective governance practices.

About You

You are an experienced and proactive Business Analyst with a proven ability to deliver outcomes in complex project environments. You are analytical, cooperative and confident engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
To be successful, you will bring:

- Minimum 5 years' experience as a Business Analyst delivering business and technology projects.
- Demonstrated experience delivering complex technology,



digital transformation, migration or platform initiatives.
- Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst within enterprise environments.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, facilitation and influencing skills.
- Experience gathering, analysing and documenting functional and technical requirements.
- Knowledge of APIs, integrations, data flows, system interfaces and non-functional requirements.
- Experience supporting testing activities, including UAT and solution validation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and documentation skills with excellent attention to detail.
- The ability to lead discussions, navigate competing priorities and drive outcomes.
- Experience mentoring or guiding other Business Analysts.
- Hands‑on experience with Jira, Confluence and related tools.
- Understanding of cloud technologies, preferably Microsoft Azure.
- The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within cross-functional teams.

Essential Requirements

- Tertiary qualification in Business, Information Technology or a related discipline.
- Experience within the Superannuation, Banking or Financial Services sector.
- Experience delivering complex technical migration, digital transformation or platform implementation projects.
