What you'll do
- Develop and execute comprehensive quality assurance strategies that align with HelloFresh's operational goals and customer satisfaction standards.
- Collaborate with product development, engineering, and operations teams to establish quality benchmarks and ensure adherence to industry standards.
- Conduct regular audits of systems and processes to identify potential risks and areas for improvement, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions.
- Utilize data analytics tools to monitor system performance and quality metrics, providing insights to stakeholders for informed decision-making.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation of quality assurance processes, including test plans, reports, and compliance records.
- Facilitate training sessions for team members on quality assurance best practices and the importance of maintaining high standards.
- Act as a liaison between various departments to promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in quality assurance methodologies, integrating relevant practices into HelloFresh's operations.
- Participate in cross-functional projects, contributing your QA expertise to enhance product quality and customer experience.
- Respond to quality-related inquiries and issues, providing timely resolutions and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with external partners and vendors to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.
- Prepare and present quality assurance reports to management, highlighting key findings and recommendations for improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Quality Assurance, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance or a similar role, preferably within the food or e-commerce industry.
- Strong understanding of quality assurance methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools, with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail,
with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing quality issues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to food safety and quality assurance.
Nice to have
- Experience with quality management systems (QMS) and continuous improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma or Lean.
- Knowledge of software testing and validation processes, particularly in the context of e-commerce platforms.
- Certification in quality assurance or related fields (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Auditor, ISO 9001).
- Previous experience in a fast-paced startup environment, demonstrating adaptability and resilience.
Skills & tools
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and quality assurance software tools.
- Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies to effectively manage QA projects.
- Solid analytical skills with the ability to use statistical analysis software for quality metrics evaluation.
- Knowledge of programming languages or scripting for automation testing is a plus.
