An exciting opportunity has opened for anIntermediate Estimator to join a growing construction business with a strong pipeline of work and an ambitious plan to expand into new sectors.
This is a great opportunity for an estimator with4+years' experience , particularly someone who has built their career aroundretail construction and is ready to take greater ownership of tenders from start to finish.
The business has a strong reputation across the retail sector and is continuing to grow, with a current pipeline of approximately$200M and around12 live projects underway.

The Role
Reporting into the Estimating Manager and working as part of an established estimating team, you'll be involved in pricing a wide range of projects, with the opportunity to take ownership of your own tenders.

You’ll have the opportunity to work on projects ranging from approximately$5M to $50M , with a number of upcoming projects sitting around the$20M mark .

Your Background

We're specifically looking for an estimator with:

- 4+ years' estimating experience within commercial construction.
- Robust experience acrossretail construction .
- Experience estimating projects such as:
- Large-format retail
- Big-box retail
- Supermarkets
- Shopping centres
- Retail rollouts
- Large commercial fit-outs

- Strong understanding of the construction process acrossarchitectural, structural, civil and services packages .
- Experience taking tendersfrom start to finish , rather than only working on individual estimating packages.
- Strong subcontractor and supplier engagement skills.
- Good commercial understanding and attention to detail.




- Experience withCubit is essential.
- The ability to confidently manage your own tenders while working collaboratively with the wider estimating and construction team.

The Projects

The business has traditionally specialised heavily inretail construction , delivering projects across some of Australia's largest retail brands.

Typical project values range from$5M–$50M , with a robust pipeline of projects around$20M+ currently coming through.

The business is also entering an exciting growth phase, looking to expand its project portfolio into sectors including:

- Education
- Health
- Commercial
- Other major construction sectors

This means you'll be joining at a point where there is already a strong retail foundation, while having the opportunity to gain exposure to new sectors as the business continues to grow.
