About the Role

Reporting directly to the Director and General Manager, you'll be responsible for growing our presence across Melbourne by developing new business opportunities while nurturing existing client relationships.

You’ll regularly travel throughout metropolitan Melbourne to meet clients, with occasional regional travel and interstate travel.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Identifying and securing new trade and commercial customers.
- Managing and growing an existing portfolio of valued clients.
- Building long-term relationships with retailers, builders and commercial customers.
- Conducting face-to-face client meetings across Melbourne.




- Preparing quotations and following sales opportunities through to completion.
- Collaborating with our Customer Service and Production teams to ensure outstanding customer outcomes.
- Maintaining accurate CRM records and sales activity.
- Achieving agreed sales targets and contributing to business growth.
- Representing Metro Shades professionally at customer meetings and industry events.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking someone who is driven, personable and passionate about sales.

To be successful, you'll have:

- 3-5 years' experience within the window furnishings industry.
- Proven experience in Business Development, Sales or Account Management.
- A strong ability to build trust and develop long-term customer relationships.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- The ability to work independently while managing your own schedule.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- A current Australian Driver's Licence.
- A positive attitude with a genuine desire to exceed sales targets.
