What you’ll do

- Monitor and manage the IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
- Collaborate with development teams to deploy applications and services in a cloud environment.
- Implement and maintain security protocols to safeguard sensitive data and systems.
- Conduct regular system audits and performance evaluations to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to IT processes, systems, and configurations.
- Assist in the planning and execution of IT projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Provide technical support and guidance to team members and end-users, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance operational efficiency.
- Participate in on‑call rotations to provide after‑hours support as needed.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to IT operations.
- Collaborate with vendors and service providers to manage contracts and service level agreements.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.




- A minimum of 3 years of experience in IT operations or a similar role.
- Proficiency in managing cloud environments, particularly AWS or Azure.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, and VPNs.
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper‑V.
- Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation tasks.
- Knowledge of IT security best practices and experience implementing security measures.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
- Knowledge of database management systems, including SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Previous experience in the food delivery or e‑commerce industry.
- Certifications such as ITIL, CompTIA, or AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
