What you’ll do
- Articulate and define the product vision and strategy, ensuring that it aligns with Insurify's overarching goals and market demands.
- Lead cross‑functional teams in the development and delivery of product features, ensuring exceptional user experiences and satisfaction.
- Analyze user behavior and performance metrics to uncover insights that will inform product decisions and enhancements.
- Identify new growth opportunities that will enhance user value and drive revenue, while optimizing existing features for better performance.
- Take ownership of product execution, proactively addressing areas of underperformance with clear improvement strategies and measurable outcomes.
- Facilitate effective communication among stakeholders, ensuring alignment on project goals, timelines, and progress updates.
- Conduct thorough market and user research to maintain a deep understanding of industry trends, user needs, and competitive landscape.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to translate product requirements into technical specifications and ensure timely delivery of product milestones.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive product documentation, including user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria.
- Foster a culture of experimentation by implementing product testing and validation processes to continuously improve product offerings.
Requirements
- A minimum of 4-6 years of experience in product management or related roles that involve decision‑making and customer‑centric strategies.
- Proven analytical skills, with extensive experience in SQL, product analytics, and data‑driven decision‑making.
- Robust communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling you to effectively convey strategies and product outcomes to diverse audiences.
- Ability to manage trade‑offs and prioritize tasks ruthlessly to achieve desired results.
- A high degree of intellectual curiosity, with a proactive approach to learning and exploring new domains.
- Experience in working collaboratively with cross‑functional teams, demonstrating an ability to lead and inspire others.
- Familiarity with product experimentation methodologies and tools, including A/B testing and user feedback mechanisms.
- A willingness to work in the Cambridge, MA office at least three times a week, engaging with the team and fostering collaboration.
Nice to have
- Experience in the FinTech or InsurTech industry, particularly with a focus on insurance products and services.
- Knowledge of agile methodologies and project management tools, such as Jira or Trello, to facilitate product development processes.
- Familiarity with user experience (UX) design principles and practices, contributing to the creation of user‑friendly products.
- Previous experience in a startup environment, demonstrating adaptability and a hands‑on approach to problem‑solving.

- Experience with collaboration tools, such as Slack or Microsoft Teams, to facilitate communication across teams.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously, demonstrating strong organizational skills.

- Insurify offers a competitive salary range of $143,000 to $165,000, commensurate with experience and skills.
