Archicad BIM Technician / Registered architect

STUDIO Y is seeking a talented Archicad BIM Technician to join our growing architectural practice based in
St. Kilda, Victoria. This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to work on diverse and innovative architectural projects whilst developing expertise in Building Information Modelling (BIM) technology. As an Archicad BIM Technician, you will play a crucial role in translating architectural designs into detailed digital models, ensuring accuracy, coordination, and compliance with industry standards. You will work collaboratively with architects, engineers, and other design professionals to deliver high-quality BIM outputs that enhance project delivery and client satisfaction.

What you'll be doing

You'll play a key role in bringing our projects to life through intelligent BIM modelling and high-quality documentation. Working closely with designers, architects and consultants, you'll develop and manage detailed Archicad models, coordinate multidisciplinary information, and ensure our documentation is accurate, effective and beautifully resolved. You'll also contribute to the ongoing development of our BIM standards and workflows, while assisting with FF&E; documentation and schedules to support the successful delivery of every project.

What we’re looking for





You're an experienced Archicad professional with at least four years’ experience in architectural documentation, ideally across hospitality, retail or residential projects. You have advanced Archicad skills, a strong understanding of Australian construction methods, detailing, the NCC/BCA and ResCode, and take pride in producing accurate, well-coordinated documentation. Organised, proactive and an excellent communicator, you're confident managing multiple priorities and enjoy working collaboratively to deliver exceptional projects.es.
