Role Purpose

The Warehouse Manager ensures Cheeta’s customer orders move through the warehouse accurately, safely and on time.

This role leads day‑to‑day warehouse activity across inbound, put‑away, picking, packing, quality control and dispatch, while staying hands‑on when required. The successful candidate brings attention to detail, pace, ownership and calm communication to a fast‑moving production and fulfilment environment.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations

Lead day‑to‑day warehouse operations across inbound receiving, put‑away, picking, packing and dispatch.

Personally perform warehouse tasks, including hands‑on QC and packing when required.

Prioritise high‑priority and deadline‑sensitive jobs so customer promises are protected.

Book couriers, create labels and prepare dispatch documentation in line with internal processes.

Keep staging, packing and dispatch areas organised, clean and easy to work through at pace.

Quality Control & Documentation

Perform and oversee QC checks before dispatch, including counts, decoration quality, specifications, product accuracy and presentation.

Take ownership of QC and packing during busy periods or complex jobs.

Maintain clear job documentation including packing lists, photos, sign‑offs and HubSpot updates where required.

Record issues clearly and elevate risks early to protect customer expectations and deadlines.

Maintain accurate inventory records,



product locations, sample stock and warehouse consumables.

Complete scheduled stocktakes and cycle counts, particularly for distribution management clients.

Keep physical samples organised, labelled and aligned to current priorities in collaboration with Customer Success.

Monitor warehouse consumables and reorder to agreed par levels.

Team Leadership & Daily Rhythm

Lead, roster and coach the Warehouse Team across inbound, outbound, QC, pick/pack, drivers and in‑house DTF press activity where applicable.

Run daily routines such as stand‑ups, priority checks and morning/afternoon warehouse sweeps.

Build a strong doers culture where accuracy, pace, safety and accountability are expected daily.

Train team members, manage day‑to‑day performance and escalation HR or performance concerns when needed.

Safety, Facility & Equipment

Own the OHS system for warehouse operations, including incident management, monthly safety checks and annual review.

Oversee facility upkeep, racking, staging areas, cleanliness and basic equipment maintenance.

Coordinate in‑house DTF press scheduling and safe operation where relevant.

Identify improvements that reduce errors, improve flow and make the warehouse safer and easier to operate.

Keep HubSpot updates accurate and provide timely, useful communication to internal stakeholders.

Work with Supply Chain, Customer Success and Account Managers to solve issues and improve warehouse flow.

Required Skills & Experience





Technical Skills

Experience managing warehouse workflows across inbound, outbound, inventory, QC, pick/pack and dispatch.

Comfortable using Microsoft Office, CRM/databases, courier portals, scanning tools and structured systems.

Robust documentation discipline and ability to keep records clear, accurate and useful.

OHS knowledge and a practical commitment to safe warehouse operations.

Experience

Previous experience leading or supervising a busy warehouse, dispatch or fulfilment environment.

Hands‑on capability across receiving, put‑away, picking, packing, dispatch and quality checking.

Experience leading small teams, setting priorities and improving operational routines.

Experience working with production, customer service, sales or supply chain teams highly regarded.

Hands‑on, reliable and willing to step into the work when the team needs support.

High attention to detail and pride in getting orders right before they leave the building.

Strong ownership, follow‑through and accountability.

Honest and grounded approach to problems, mistakes and improvement opportunities.

Easy to work with across departments, with a team‑first mindset.

Dynamic, proactive and comfortable improving systems in a growing business.
