About the Role

C2O is seeking an experienced Commissioning Supervisor (Energy Marshall) to join our Melbourne team, supporting the delivery of multiple major data centre projects across Victoria.

This is a senior leadership role responsible for managing electrical isolation and energisation activities throughout the commissioning phase. Acting as the project's Energy Marshall, you will be the site authority for electrical isolations, Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) compliance and energisation, ensuring all activities are completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with project procedures. Working closely with commissioning, construction and client operations teams, you will play a key role in delivering critical infrastructure projects safely and successfully.

Key Responsibilities

- Act as the site authority for all electrical isolation and energisation activities.
- Review and approve Notices of Energisation (NoEs) and Energisation Permits.
- Coordinate and manage Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) processes across multiple project work fronts.
- Maintain and control project Single Line Diagrams (SLDs).
- Lead isolation planning and coordinate energisation activities with commissioning and construction teams.
- Conduct isolation audits and ensure compliance with project procedures and safety standards.
- Chair safety meetings and support High Risk Activity (HRA) planning.




- Liaise closely with client operations regarding planned outages, isolations and energisation activities.
- Support incident investigations and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Verify electrical personnel are suitably qualified and authorised to undertake energisation works.
- Promote and champion a solid safety culture across all commissioning activities.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Extensive experience as a Commissioning Supervisor, Electrical Supervisor or Senior Commissioning Electrician.
- Experience delivering commissioning works on data centres, critical infrastructure, power generation, utilities, renewables, mining or other major industrial projects.
- Strong knowledge of electrical isolation, Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) systems and energisation procedures.
- Experience managing commissioning activities within high-risk environments.
- The ability to interpret and manage Single Line Diagrams (SLDs).
- Excellent leadership, planning and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.

Desirable

- Current A Grade Electrical Licence.
- Previous experience acting as an Energy Marshall or Electrical Isolation Authority.
- HV switching and isolation experience.
- Experience working on mission-critical or hyperscale data centre projects.
- Construction White Card.
