What you'll do

- Collaborate with various departments, including logistics, supply chain, and IT, to streamline operations and enhance productivity.
- Analyze operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement, leveraging data-driven insights to inform decision-making.
- Design and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service quality across the supply chain.
- Develop and maintain operational metrics and KPIs to track performance and ensure alignment with company goals.
- Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints while meeting operational requirements.
- Conduct root cause analysis on operational issues and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate with IT teams to develop and optimize software tools and systems that support operational processes.




- Provide training and support to team members on new processes and technologies, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Participate in the development of operational strategies that align with the overall business objectives of HelloFresh.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations for stakeholders, summarizing operational performance and proposed initiatives.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to ensure HelloFresh remains competitive in the market.
- Engage in cross-departmental initiatives aimed at enhancing customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in operations engineering or a similar role, preferably within the logistics or supply chain industry.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate findings into actionable strategies.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools, with a proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling effective collaboration with diverse teams.
- Familiarity with process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma is highly desirable.
- Experience with data analysis tools and software, such as Excel, SQL, or similar platforms.




- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively to address operational challenges.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities while maintaining a focus on quality and efficiency.

Nice to have

- Experience in the food delivery or e-commerce sector, providing insights into industry-specific challenges and solutions.
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and transportation management systems (TMS).
- Familiarity with automation technologies and their application in operational processes.
- Certification in project management (PMP, PRINCE2, etc.) or process improvement (Lean, Six Sigma).
- Multilingual abilities, which can enhance communication in a diverse workplace.

Skills & tools

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI to present operational insights effectively.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R for data manipulation and analysis is a plus.
- Strong understanding of supply chain management principles and practices.
- Knowledge of inventory management and logistics software solutions.
