Mechanical Fitters (C8)

Brief Job Summary

We are seeking trade‑qualified C8 Mechanical Fitters for multiple opportunities across Melbourne. A wide range of casual, permanent and contract roles are available, with day, afternoon, night shift and weekend work on offer.

About the Role

Our clients include some of Australia’s most recognised and respected manufacturing organisations. Due to ongoing growth and increased production demands, they are expanding their maintenance teams across several sites.

Key Requirements

- Trade Qualification – Mechanical Fitter (C8 classification)
- Robust maintenance experience across production plant and high-speed machinery
- Proven capability in breakdowns, fault‑finding, and preventative maintenance




- Previous industrial experience within manufacturing environmentsUnderstanding of Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing principles
- Analytical and methodical approach to problem‑solving
- High attention to detail and strong work ethic
- Proactive mindset with the ability to contribute effectively within a team
- Effective communication skills
- Computer literacy, including experience with CMMS software
