Manage Purchasing Activities:

- Supervise day-to-day procurement operations.
- Review and approve purchase requisitions and purchase orders.
- Ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Provide support to Supply Chain Manager where required

Vendor and Supplier Management:

- Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers through RFQ process
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and service agreements
- Maintain strong supplier relationships and monitor supplier performance .
- Manage supplier contracts and qualification certificates in Oracle system
- Develop strong and creditable relationships and ready contacts within the Australian business, within the APAC sourcing group, and with key suppliers
- Identifies and profiles alternative suppliers for the sourcing of products and services

Cost Control and Savings:

- Analyse spending patterns and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
- Negotiate favourable commercial terms.
- Support budget management and procurement strategies.

Team Leadership:

- Lead and mentor procurement analysts.
- Allocate workloads and monitor team performance.
- Train team members on procurement policies and systems.

Compliance and Governance:

- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, contracts, and relevant regulations.




- Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.
- Support audits and risk management processes.

Inventory

- Work with operational departments to execute purchasing plans
- Monitor stock levels and prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Coordinate with warehousing, quaility and logistics teams.

Reporting and Analysis:

- Track key procurement metrics such as: Supplier performance Cost savings Purchase cycle times Contract compliance
- Prepare reports for management.

Safety

- Adheres to all company WHS policies and procedures and sets the expectation to work safely through responses and commitment.
- Monitor’s safety performance for area of responsibility; and completes risk assessments if required, Follows the DAPL Safety Management System including actioning incident reports, hazards, near misses, and injured staff selective duties.

General Undertake all tasks with a positive and professional work ethic. Ensures all work is undertaken in a safe and tidy manner. Ensures all activities related to your duties comply with Company policies and procedures, relevant legislation, legal and professional standards as well as the Company's Code of Conduct. Undertake any other task associated with the operations of the business that may be reasonably requested from time to time or subject to a specific direction.





This is a full time role based at the Wyong site on the Central Coast of NSW.
