The opportunity

An exciting opportunity now exists for a Project Engineer to join the Melbourne team, supporting the delivery of industrial air compressor service projects.

Based from a brand-new Richmond office, you'll coordinate multiple concurrent projects from order through to completion, working closely with customers, field service technicians and internal stakeholders.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a mechanical mindset who enjoys problem solving, building relationships and seeing projects through to successful delivery.

About the role

No two days are the same. You'll be coordinating multiple projects simultaneously while working closely with customers, field technicians and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Manage multiple concurrent projects from order through to completion.
- Monitor project budgets, timelines and customer expectations.
- Build strong relationships with customers, providing regular project updates.
- Coordinate repairs, upgrades and maintenance projects for industrial air compressor systems.
- Schedule field service technicians,



including coordinating travel and accommodation.
- Work collaboratively with engineering, service and operations teams.
- Identify risks early and implement practical solutions to keep projects on track.
- Prepare project reports and maintain accurate documentation.
- Provide support to customers in Western Australia, including working within the WA time zone when required. Occasional travel to Western Australia as required.

About you

We're looking for someone who's organised, mechanically minded and enjoys bringing multiple moving parts together.

You’ll ideally have:

- Experience coordinating engineering, service, maintenance or industrial projects.
- A mechanical background or experience working with industrial equipment, rotating machinery, compressors, pumps or similar.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Robust communication skills and a customer-first approach.
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP is advantageous.
- Experience with MS Project or similar.
- A proactive mindset and a knack for solving problems before they become issues.
