The Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead the Maintenance and Reliability vertical for a large factory. This critical role ensures the safe, efficient, and cost-effective operation of plant, equipment, and services to support the site’s short- and long-term goals.

Key responsibilities include:

- Leading and mentoring a high-performing engineering team
- Overseeing preventative and breakdown maintenance to maximise plant availability
- Managing the site engineering budget, including capital expenditure projects
- Ensuring compliance with environmental, safety, and food quality regulations
- Driving a culture of continuous improvement through process optimisation and innovation
- Managing the design,



installation, and commissioning of new equipment
- Collaborating with internal teams and external contractors to enhance operational efficiency

Skills & Experience

To excel in this role, you will bring:

- Proven leadership experience in maintenance and reliability within food manufacturing or a similar industrial setting
- Strong knowledge of engineering principles, plant operations, and asset management
- Experience in managing budgets, CAPEX projects, and regulatory compliance
