About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Ecommerce Manager to join our team on a permanent full time basis.
Reporting to the Head of Digital, you will lead ecommerce strategy, trading performance, and customer experience across the region, driving revenue growth, customer retention, and online performance. You will manage two direct reports and key agency partners, working crossfunctionally to deliver commercial outcomes and continuous improvement across the digital channel.
Our head office is conveniently located within central Melbourne, Carlton. This role is office-based full-time for the first six months, with the flexibility to work from home up to two days per week thereafter.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and execute the ecommerce strategy to drive revenue growth, profitability, and customer acquisition.
Own online trading performance across revenue, conversion, traffic, AOV, and customer retention.
Manage the ecommerce trading calendar,
including product launches, promotions, and key trading events.
Optimise the end-to-end customer journey to improve conversion, engagement, and customer satisfaction.
Oversee digital merchandising, site content, pricing, promotions, and campaign execution.
Manage ecommerce operations, fulfilment, customer care, and key agency and technology partners.
Analyse performance and customer insights to identify opportunities and inform strategic decisions.
Lead and develop the Ecommerce team while building strong cross-functional relationships across Marketing, Retail, Operations, and Customer Care.
About You
Minimum 5 years' experience in ecommerce operations, ecommerce trading, or ecommerce management
Minimum 3 years' hands‑on experience managing Shopify platforms
Strong experience in catalogue management, merchandising, product uploads, and website content administration
Experience executing online campaigns, promotions, and product launches
Experience using Searchspring or similar merchandising and search optimization platforms
Working knowledge of ecommerce analytics tools such as GA4, Contentsquare, Clarity, or similar platforms
Experience managing inventory, fulfilment operations, 3PL providers, and ERP/WMS integrations (SAP experience highly regarded)
Proven experience managing customer service operations and post-purchase customer journeys
Strong team member and stakeholder management, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
