Position Summary

The Global Institute is seeking an AI Specialist to advance Teach For All's AI Literacy & Creator Collective (AI LCC), a flagship program connecting teachers, alumni, and staff across 63 Teach For All Network Partners who are shaping how AI transforms education.

This combined role spans both program management and community building: you'll manage delivery of the AI LCC's core programming (including our weekly AI AAA Series featuring thought leaders like Reid Hoffman), develop partnerships with frontier AI companies like Anthropic and Google, and build and grow the AI LCC's WhatsApp community while expanding into other platforms.

You will create pathways for educators to progress from literacy to creator to builder, facilitate peer-to-peer learning, and support distributed leadership so self-organizing collectives can emerge and thrive, all working across diverse cultures, regions, languages, and time zones.

This role is for a self-starter who is deeply engaged with the rapidly evolving AI ecosystem, uses foundation models daily, and understands that transformation happens through community and collective leadership rather than top‑down mandates, shifting educators from dependency to agency.

About the Team

This role reports to the Director of the Global Institute and works in close collaboration with the broader Global Institute team — including the Chief Learning Officers and their respective circles, and the Outreach and Engagement team — to build out a shared AI learning agenda. The role also works closely with Teach For All's central team, particularly on technology and communications.

- AI integration and innovation: piloting AI‑driven tools to summarize, translate, and resource the community at scale.
- Ethical AI dialogue: facilitating secure‑space conversations on data privacy, bias, and responsible adoption.
