Positioned as a key accommodation partner for one of Victoria's premier venues for conferences and events, we are witnessing a significant increase in business from conferences, events, and group bookings. We are in search of a agile and experienced Rooms Division Manager to lead our Front Office operations while also providing support to the Housekeeping and Maintenance teams.

What you'll do
- Manage the daily functions of the Front Office, ensuring that service quality and guest satisfaction are consistently upheld.
- Work closely with the Housekeeping and Maintenance departments to ensure that hotel standards are met and any operational issues are promptly resolved.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest experiences and improve service delivery across all departments.
- Monitor and evaluate team performance, providing coaching and support to staff to foster a culture of excellence.
- Prepare and manage departmental budgets, ensuring financial targets are met while maintaining high service standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of the hotel facilities to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate events and group bookings, ensuring seamless service delivery.
- Handle guest complaints and feedback professionally, striving to resolve issues to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor offerings to ensure our services remain competitive and appealing.
- Participate in recruitment, training, and development of team members to build a skilled and motivated workforce.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration among all staff members.
- Prepare reports on operational performance and guest feedback for management review.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in hotel management, particularly within the Rooms Division.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a proven track record of managing multiple teams effectively.
- In-depth knowledge of Front Office operations and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest service.
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Hospitality Management or a related discipline is essential.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and team members.

- Familiarity with various property management systems and hotel technology to streamline operations.
