Injury Management and Workers Compensation Consultant
Location: Metro Melbourne, with regular travel to metro and regional sites
Role type: Part-time, 0.8 FTE, ongoing, with flexibility across working days
Remuneration: $133,596.41 inclusive of 12% superannuation, pro rata
As the Injury Management and Workers Compensation Consultant, you will help employees navigate safe,supportedand sustainable return-to-work pathways. You will manage workers’ compensation claims from end to end, coordinate injury management planning, andprovidepractical advice across both work-related and non-work-related injury matters.
This is a hands-on role with real variety and impact. You will work closely with managers, employees, insurers, medicalproviders,andWorkCoverto support positive outcomes, while contributing to a safe,supportiveand effective workplace. You will be part of a close-knit, highly experienced team that valuesautonomy andcollaboration with strong manager support.
What we are looking for:
- Experience in workers’ compensation, injurymanagement,and return-to-work coordination
- Confidence working with managers, employees, insurers, medical providers and WorkCover
- The ability to manage complex matters, resolve issues and support changes where injury management impacts teams
- Sound analytical skills, with confidence using information and data to support decisions and recommendations
- A self-managed approach, with the ability to plan, prioritise and work autonomously
- The ability to work effectively with people from diverse professional, social and personal backgrounds
- An allied health, rehabilitation, insurance or related background will be highly regarded
- An accredited return to work course is preferred
