We are partnering with a leading Indigenous cultural tourism organisation to recruit an experienced Training Manager for a full-time onsite role at Ayers Rock Resort, Uluru.

The Training Manager will lead the in office training team and work closely with the Sydney-based RTO Operations Manager and the administration team. The role is approximately 40% hands‑on training and assessment, and 60% team leadership and onsite RTO responsibilities.

- Strengthen trainee attendance, engagement and progression processes.
- Ensure high‑quality, contextualised training and assessment is delivered.
- Build robust relationships across resort operations and the broader RTO team.

- Strengthen trainee attendance, engagement and progression processes.
- Ensure high‑quality, contextualised training and assessment is delivered.
- Build strong relationships across resort operations and the broader RTO team.

Programs

- SIT30622 Certificate III in Hospitality, the priority stream.
- SIT30125 Certificate III in Tourism, desirable but not mandatory, where the candidate can deliver Hospitality.

Key responsibilities

- Lead, support and performance‑manage the onsite training team.
- Plan and oversee training and assessment against trainee targets.
- Personally deliver and assess units within the candidate's vocational competence and currency.




- Monitor attendance, academic progression, workplace skills gaps and completions.
- Maintain accurate RTO records, reporting and assessment evidence in line with ASQA requirements.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of programs, resources and compliance activities.
- Build productive relationships with resort operations, host departments, trainees and the Sydney RTO team.
- Support culturally safe, strength‑based practice and positive outcomes for young Indigenous trainees.

Essential requirements

- TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or higher.
- Certificate III or higher in Hospitality and/or Tourism, with Hospitality the priority.
- At least three years of current Hospitality and/or Tourism industry experience and demonstrated vocational currency.
- At least five years of combined teaching and management experience.
- Demonstrated RTO, VET compliance and student management system experience.
- Proven leadership in a complex working environment.
- Strong computer, reporting and stakeholder communication skills.
- Unrestricted Australian work rights and the ability to complete a National Criminal History Check.
- Current Working with Children Check and manual Class C Driver Licence, as required by the position description.

Highly regarded

- Experience working with young Indigenous Australians.
- Experience living or working in a remote location.
- Qualifications and current industry currency across both Hospitality and Tourism.

Package and working arrangements

- Approximately $120,000 + super.
- Permanent full-time preferred, with openness to a 12-month appointment for the right candidate.
- Monday to Friday, approximately 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
- Subsidised onsite housing, company car and up to $1,500 relocation reimbursement.
- On‑shift meals, resort discounts, pool, gym and Residents Club access.
- $700 vacation bonus and anniversary vouchers after 12 months.
- Immediate start preferred.
