An exciting opportunity has become available for a lawyer to join a well-established Projects & Infrastructure practice working on significant transactions across Australia's evolving energy, infrastructure and industrial sectors.

This role offers exposure to complex, high-value projects from inception through to delivery, acting for a broad range of clients including developers, investors, financiers, contractors, government bodies and major project owners. You will work alongside experienced practitioners on commercially focused matters that are helping shape Australia's future infrastructure and energy landscape.

The team advises across a diverse portfolio of projects, with a strong emphasis on renewable energy, major infrastructure, emerging technologies and large-scale commercial developments.

The Role

Working across the full lifecycle of major projects, your responsibilities may include advising on:

- Renewable energy developments, including wind, solar, battery storage and emerging energy technologies.
- Major infrastructure and industrial projects across both the public and private sectors.
- Procurement strategies, construction arrangements and complex commercial contracts.
- Energy supply, offtake and project delivery agreements.
- Digital infrastructure developments, including data centres and technology assets.
- Public-private partnerships, alliance contracting and alternative project delivery models.
- Housing, accommodation and social infrastructure projects.
- Regulatory, commercial and strategic issues arising throughout the development,



delivery and operation of major projects.

You will gain broad exposure to sophisticated transactions, working closely with clients while taking on meaningful responsibility and developing strong commercial relationships.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

- Approximately 2-5 years' post-admission experience gained within a projects, infrastructure, construction or energy practice, or relevant in-house experience.
- Exposure to major project development, procurement or infrastructure transactions.
- Experience advising on energy, transport, utilities, social infrastructure or other large-scale developments will be highly regarded.
- Strong drafting and technical legal skills with a practical, commercial approach.
- The ability to build trusted client relationships and work collaboratively within a high-performing team.
- A genuine interest in Australia's infrastructure pipeline, energy transition and future project developments.
